''Koshai'' ( bn, কসাই, "butcher") is a 1980 Bangladeshi film directed by Amjad Hossain. It stars Rozina, Bobita, Alamgir, Kabari, and Jashim. It won four National Film Awards: Best Supporting Actress ( Rozina), Best Music Director ( Alauddin Ali), Best Male Playback Singer ( Syed Abdul Hadi), and Best Female Playback Singer (Sabina Yasmin). Rozina (actress)
Rozina (born 12 April 1956) is a Bangladeshi film and television actress. As of 2018, she has performed in over 300 films. She was a prominent actress in the 1980s. She won Bangladesh National Film Awards for the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress for her roles in the films ''Jibondhara'' (1988) and '' Koshai'' (1980) respectively. She also starred opposite to Mithun Chakraborty in Anyaay Abichar. Biography Rozina was born on 12 April 1956 in Faridpur district, East Pakistan. She started her career at an early age of 16, in the 1976 film ''Rajmahal'', opposite actor Wasim. Then she paired opposite Wasim in a number of films. Their next film was ''Rosher Baidani''. In 1976, she changed her name from Renu to Rozina. They also acted in the films ''Zarka'' and ''Rajshinghasan''. 1981-1990 Rozina started acting in Indian Bengali films. Alauddin Ali (24 December 1952 – 9 August 2020) was a Bangladeshi music composer. He won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Music Director five times for the films ''Golapi Ekhon Traine'' (1978), ''Sundori'' (1979), ''Koshai'' (1980), ''Jogajog'' (1988) and ''Lakhe Ekta'' (1990). Amjad Hossain (14 August 1942 – 14 December 2018) was a Bangladeshi film director, actor, scriptwriter and lyricist. He won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Director twice, for the films ''Golapi Ekhon Traine'' (1978) and '' Bhat De'' (1984). He also won Bangla Academy Literary Award in 2004 and Ekushey Padak in 1992. Career Hossain was born in Jamalpur on 14 August 1942. The Moscow International Film Festival (russian: Моско́вский междунаро́дный кинофестива́ль, translit. ''Moskóvskiy myezhdunaródniy kinofyestivál''; abbreviated as MIFF) is the film festival first held in Moscow in 1935 and became regular since 1959.
