Kory Roberts
Kory Paul Roberts (born 17 December 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Hednesford Town. Career Roberts was born in Birmingham, West Midlands. He joined the Walsall academy at the age of 16 from Birmingham's Sunday football scene, after a failed trial at Birmingham City. He signed his first professional contract with Walsall in May 2016. On 31 December 2016, Roberts made his Football League debut against Oxford United in a 0–0 draw. He signed a new contract with Walsall in October 2018, running until June 2020. Following his release from Walsall, he signed for Bromley in September 2020. On 29 September 2021, he signed for National League North side AFC Telford United on a two-month loan deal. 2021–22 Southern Football League
The 2021–22 Southern Football League season was the 119th in the history of the Southern League since its establishment in 1894. The league had two Premier divisions (Central and South) at Step 3 of the National League System (NLS) and two Division One divisions (Central and South) at Step 4. These correspond to levels 7 and 8 of the English football league system. The allocations for Step 4 this season were announced by The Football Association (FA) on 17 May 2021. 2021–22 National League
The 2021–22 National League season, known as the Vanarama National League for sponsorship reasons, was the seventh season as English football's National League, the eightteenth season consisting of three divisions, and the forty-third season overall. Due to the curtailment of the preceding season for North and South and lower levels of competition in the English football pyramid, promotion and relegation between levels 5 and 6, and between level 6 and lower levels were suspended. These, combined with the folding of Macclesfield Town in 2020–21 and the knock-on effects of Bury's collapse in 2019–20, meant that for the 2021–22 season the three divisions had the irregular complement of 23, 22 and 21 teams, respectively. FA Trophy
The Football Association Challenge Trophy, also known as the Isuzu FA Trophy for sponsorship reasons, is a men's football knockout cup competition run by and named after The Football Association (the FA) and competed by mainly National League teams. The competition was introduced in 1969. Eligibility rules have changed over time, but from 2008 onwards the competition has been open to clubs playing in Steps 1–4 of the National League System, equivalent to tiers 5–8 of the overall English football league system.
