Korky Neufeld
Kornelius "Korky" Neufeld is a Canadian politician who was elected to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia in the 2024 British Columbia general election. He represents the electoral district of Abbotsford West as a member of the Conservative Party of British Columbia. Early life and career Neufeld was born into a family of 10 children. His parents, originally from South America, immigrated to Canada in 1964. As of 2024, he resides in Abbotsford, British Columbia with his wife, Cynthia, his four children, and two grandchildren. Neufeld began his career in church ministry as a pastor in Vancouver before leading a church in Abbotsford for more than ten years. He later worked in the construction industry, including as a construction manager for Servicemaster Restore of the Fraser Valley. The Fraser Valley is a geographical region in southwestern British Columbia, Canada and northwestern Washington State. It starts just west of Hope in a narrow valley encompassing the Fraser River and ends at the Pacific Ocean stretching from the North Shore Mountains, opposite the city of Vancouver BC, to just south of Bellingham, Washington.
