Koray Aldemir
Koray Aldemir (born 1990) is a German professional poker player of Turkish descent, born in Berlin and now residing in Vienna, Austria. In 2021, he won the World Series of Poker Main Event for $8,000,000. Aldemir first played poker while at a friend's house on New Year's Eve in 2006. He began by playing freerolls on PokerStars and had his first recorded live cash in January 2012 in a €200 tournament held in Berlin. While playing a tournament in Rozvadov, Czech Republic in 2013, Aldemir allowed another player to use his computer to send money on PokerStars and had his account locked on the site for the next four years. He moved to Vienna soon after to study psychology in university. Prior to the Main Event, Aldemir's best career cash was for $2.1 million when he finished in third place in the $111,111 One Drop High Roller at the 2016 World Series of Poker. The 2017 World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) took place from 19 October to 10 November at King's Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic. Adrian is a form of the Latin given name Adrianus or Hadrianus. Its ultimate origin is most likely via the former river Adria from the Venetic and Illyrian word ''adur'', meaning "sea" or "water". 2021 World Series Of Poker
The 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) was the 52nd edition of the event. It took place from September 30 – November 23 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. A full schedule of 88 live events (plus 11 online events) was held after the 2020 World Series of Poker, 2020 WSOP was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The $10,000 No Limit Hold'em Main Event began on November 4, with the champion being determined on November 17. New events included a $1,000 Flip and Go No Limit Hold'em Tournament, where each player was automatically all-in on the first hand and the winners of the hand will proceed into the money and a traditional tournament structure. There was also a Poker Hall of Famers Bounty tournament. Each member of the Poker Hall of Fame was invited to play as a freeroll and had a bounty placed on them, with the buy-in for other players $1,979 in honor of the Hall of Fame opening in 1979. The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure is an annual televised poker tournament. History The event was first held in 2004 and was originally co-sponsored by PokerStars and the World Poker Tour. The Hendon Mob Poker Database
The Hendon Mob are a group of four professional poker players from London, England: Joe Beevers, Barny Boatman, Ross Boatman, and Ram Vaswani. The name of the group was first publicised by the ''Evening Standard'' newspaper in September 2000. Joe Beevers is the only member of the group who actually comes from Hendon, but the others played in Hendon. The Mob first became recognised for their appearances on the televised poker programme '' Late Night Poker'' (1999–2002).
