Konstantin Sidenko
Konstantin Semyonovich Sidenko (russian: Константин Семёнович Сиденко; born 2 February 1953) is a Russian admiral and a recipient of Order of Military Merit and Order for Service to the Homeland in the Armed Forces of the USSR. Biography Sidenko was born on 2 February 1953 in Khabarovsk. He became a student at the Pacific Higher Naval School in 1970 and graduated from Pacific Higher Naval School which was honourably named after S.O. Makarov in 1975. Later on, in 1989, he graduated from the Naval Academy after which he served with the Pacific Fleet as deputy commander in charge of submarines. Five years later he graduated from the Russian Military Academy of the General Staff and became chief of staff for both a submarine flotilla and of a squadron. He continued with that position through June 2000 when he became commander of the North-Eastern Troops and Forces. Khabarovsk
Khabarovsk ( rus, Хабaровск, a=Хабаровск.ogg, r=Habárovsk, p=xɐˈbarəfsk) is the largest city and the administrative centre of Khabarovsk Krai, Russia,Law #109 located from the China–Russia border, at the confluence of the Amur and Ussuri Rivers, about north of Vladivostok. With a 2010 population of 577,441 it is Russia's easternmost city with more than half a million inhabitants. The city was the administrative center of the Far Eastern Federal District of Russia from 2002 until December 2018, when Vladivostok took over that role. The points of the compass are a set of horizontal, radially arrayed compass directions (or azimuths) used in navigation and cartography. A compass rose is primarily composed of four cardinal directions—north, east, south, and west—each separated by 90 degrees, and secondarily divided by four ordinal (intercardinal) directions—northeast, southeast, southwest, and northwest—each located halfway between two cardinal directions. General Staff Academy (Russia)
The Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (russian: Военная академия Генерального штаба Вооруженных Сил Российской Федерации) is the senior staff college of the Russian Armed Forces. The academy is located in Moscow, on 14 Kholzunova Lane. It was founded in 1936 as a Soviet institution, based on higher command courses that had been established at the M. V. Frunze Military Academy, itself founded in 1918. An earlier General Staff Academy had existed during the Imperial period, since 1832. Students were, and probably still are, admitted to the Academy in the ranks of lieutenant colonel, colonel, and General-Major (one star). Most were colonels or newly promoted generals.
