Konstantin Remchukov
Konstantin Vadimovich Remchukov (; born 21 November 1954) is a Russian journalist, editor-in-chief, and CEO of Nezavisimaya Gazeta". Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation (1999–2003) and chair of the Public Chamber of the city of Moscow. Previously he headed the Public Council on Russia's accession to the WTO. Biography Born on 21 November 1954 in Morozovsk, Rostov Oblast. After his parents moved, he studied in the city Volzhsky. Parents worked as school directors in Volzhsky. Morozovsk () is a town and the administrative center of Morozovsky District in Rostov Oblast, Russia, located on the Bystraya River (left tributary of the Seversky Donets), northeast of Rostov-on-Don, the administrative center of the oblast. Echo of Moscow () was a 24/7 commercial Russian radio station based in Moscow. It broadcast in many Russian cities, some of the former Soviet republics (through partnerships with local radio stations), and via the Internet. From 1996 its editor-in-chief was Alexei Venediktov.
