Konami Wai Wai World
''Konami Wai Wai World'' is a 1988 platformer video game developed and published by Konami for the Family Computer. Released only in Japan, the name, "wai wai" is a Japanese onomatopoeia expressing a noisy or boisterous atmosphere. The game starred a variety of characters pulled from other Konami games and franchises of the time. A sequel, ''Wai Wai World 2: SOS!! Parsley Jō'', was released for the Famicom in 1991. Gameplay The player starts the game as Konami Man and can switch between Konami Man and Konami Lady. If two players are gaming, then one will play as Konami Man and the other as Konami Lady. Both players are not able to switch characters until they rescue at least one character from one of the six levels. The player must play through six different selectable levels that take place in different Konami games. The Goonies (Famicom Video Game)
is a 1986 Platformer, platform video game developed and published by Konami for the Nintendo Entertainment System, Family Computer. It is based on the The Goonies, film of the same name. Konami also developed a completely different version for the MSX in Japan. First released on cartridge, it was later re-released in Family Computer Disk System, Disk System format in 1988. Although the game was never sold in retail in North America, Nintendo published an arcade port in North America for the Nintendo VS. System, VS. System (a coin-operated platform which runs on the same hardware as the NES) under the title ''VS. The Goonies'' and it was also available as a PlayChoice-10 title in the region. Antarctic Adventure
is a video game developed by Konami in 1983 for the MSX, and later for video game consoles, such as the Family Computer and ColecoVision. The player takes the role of an Antarctic penguin, racing to various research stations owned by different countries in Antarctica (excluding the USSR). The gameplay is similar to Sega's ''Turbo'', but plays at a much slower pace, and features platform game elements. The penguin, later named Penta, must reach the next station before time runs out while avoiding sea lions and breaks in the ice. Throughout the levels, fish jump out of ice holes and can be caught for bonus points. Moai-kun
is a puzzle video game developed and published by Konami for the Family Computer in Japan in March 1990, and a spin-off of the ''Gradius'' video game series. The game derives its themes from Easter Island; the player controls a sentient moai statue (which is an enemy in the ''Gradius'' series) that must rescue other moai and escape each stage via a door before the timer expires.
