Bronisław Komorowski
Bronisław Maria Komorowski (; born 4 June 1952) is a Polish politician and historian who was the fifth president of Poland from 2010 to 2015. Komorowski previously served as Ministry of National Defence (Poland), Minister of National Defence from 2000 to 2001. As Marshal of the Sejm, Komorowski exercised the powers and duties of Acting President of Poland, acting president following the death of President Lech Kaczyński in a Smolensk air disaster, plane crash on 10 April 2010. Komorowski was then the governing Civic Platform party's candidate in the resulting 2010 Polish presidential election, presidential election, which he won in the second round of voting on 4 July 2010. Stanisław Jerzy Komorowski (18 December 1953 – 10 April 2010) was a Polish diplomat and physicist. He was long-term Polish Ambassador to Great Britain and the Netherlands, the Deputy Minister of National Defence and Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister. Generał Tadeusz Komorowski (1 June 1895 – 24 August 1966), better known by the name Bór-Komorowski (after one of his wartime code names: ''Bór'' – "The Forest") was a Polish military leader. Bronisław Komorowski (25 May 1889 – 22 March 1940) was a Polish Roman Catholic priest, active in the interwar period in the predominantly German Free City of Danzig. Komorowski, a Polish patriot and educator, was murdered by the Nazi occupiers at Stutthof concentration camp, together with a number of Polish activists captured during the Polish September Campaign. Wiktor Komorowski
Wiktor Komorowski (8 June 1887 - 23 August 1952) was a Poland, Polish Flying ace, ace pilot in the Imperial Russian Air Force during World War I with six confirmed kills. Biography Wiktor Komorowski was born in 1887. In the years 1914 to 1916, he shot down six enemy planes. In 1917, he joined the Polish I Corps in Russia, was arrested by Bolsheviks, and then became a Soviet aviator. From 1 August 1919, Komorowski served in the Polish Air Force. He took part in the Kiev offensive (1920) with the 4th Escadrille and became commander of his unit. In 1920, he was given command of the 36th Escadrille and received command of the Officer Flying School in Grudziądz. In 1928, he went to the reserves.
