Komedianten
Komedianten ("The Trouper") is a cultural centre with a public library, art gallery and performing operations in Varberg, Sweden. The library is the main public library in Varberg Municipality, and also the municipality's largest public library. The library has been at its present location since 1981. In 2010–2012, the library was expanded with an additional floor and converted to the current arts center, which was inaugurated on 14 January 2012. The name comes from the block which is named ''Komedianten'', because of the theatre that was built on the property next to the cultural centre in 1895. Since 2012, the theatre is integrated with the cultural centre. A trouper (Swedish: ''komediant'') was formerly a traveling actor, and the word was considered by the municipal executive board in Varberg to be an appropriate name for the cultural center, with a clear reference to world of culture. Varberg () is a Urban areas in Sweden, locality and the seat of Varberg Municipality, Halland County, Sweden, with 35,782 inhabitants in 2019. Varberg and all of Halland are well known for their "typical west coast" sandy beaches. In Varberg the coast changes from wide sandy beaches to rocky terrain that continues north into the Bohuslän archipelago and as far as the North Cape. Carl Nyrén
Carl Nyrén (11 November 1917 – 6 November 2011) was a Sweden, Swedish architect. Biography Nyrén was born in Jönköping, Sweden. Nyrén was the son of Johan Albert and Gertrud Nyrén and grew up in Hovslätt as the youngest of six children. He graduated from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm during 1942. He was first employed by modernist architect Paul Hedqvist. Nyrén was initially influenced by the Modern architecture#Modernism as dominant style, modernism of Gunnar Asplund (1885–1940). Later in the 1960s, developed towards Structuralism (architecture), structuralistic architecture. During the last two decades of his career, his buildings have were characterized by a Romanticism, romantic, Humanism, humanistic style. Sten Bertil Ingemund Bengtsson (30 January 1919 – 12 April 2000) was a Swedish Swedish Social Democratic Party, Social democratic politician, and Speaker of the Riksdag, Speaker of the Parliament of Sweden, Riksdag from 1979 to 1988.Sandblom, Clas-Göran (1994): ''Ingemund - en biografi''.
