Kolåstinden
Kolåstinden is a mountain in Ørsta Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The tall mountain is located where the Romedalen and Standaldalen valleys converge, about west of the village of Store-Standal and the Hjørundfjorden and it is about northeast of the village of Ørsta. The summit is most easily reached from the area around the ''Standalhytta'' chalet, operated by the Aalesunds Skiklub, southwest of Store-Standal. It is easiest to reach the peak in the winter and spring on skis, while it is recommended that those accessing in the summer bring ropes for glacier crossings. Store-Standal is a small village in the Hjørundfjorden area of Ørsta Municipality in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. The village has a population of approximately 20 people. Store-Standal is located along the Hjørundfjorden midway between the villages of Sæbø and Festøy. The village is located among the Sunnmørsalpene mountains, about east of the mountain Kolåstinden. There is a ferry service from this village to Trandal (across the fjord) and the on to Sæbø (further down the fjord). As with many villages in rural areas, populations have been gradually decreasing as living off the land is no longer viable in modernized countries. Skårasalen
Skårasalen is a mountain in Ørsta Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The tall mountain has the seventh largest prominence () of all mountains in Norway. The mountain is located about south of the village of Sæbø and the Bondalen valley in the Hjørundfjorden area of the municipality. The nearby mountain, Jakta, lies directly to the east on the opposite side of the fjord. Skårasalen lies within the Sunnmørsalpene mountain range along the southern shores of the Hjørundfjorden. Access is easiest from the Kvistad valley on the western side. An alternative descent for skiing is a steep route straight down to the fjord on the eastern side, and then to return via a hired boat. Ørsta is the administrative centre of Ørsta Municipality in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. The village is located at the innermost part of the Ørstafjorden, surrounded by the Sunnmørsalpene mountains.
