Kolina
Kolina (an acronym of Corriente de Liberación Nacional; lit. "National Liberation Current") is a kirchnerist political party in Argentina founded in 2010 by Alicia Kirchner, sister of former president of Argentina, Néstor Kirchner. The party now forms part of the Frente de Todos, the ruling coalition supporting President Alberto Fernández. At the time of its foundation and until the alliance's dissolution, the party was a member of the Front for Victory. Following the 2019 general election, the party counts with representation in the Argentine Chamber of Deputies (the National Deputies Lisandro Bormioli, María Rosa Martínez and Paola Vessvessian belong to Kolina). Hilda Victoria Montenegro (born 31 January 1976) is an Argentine politician who has been a member of the Buenos Aires City Legislature since 2017 for the Kolina party. Marcela Paola Vessvessian (born 19 March 1971) is an Argentine politician, currently serving as National Deputy elected in Santa Cruz. A member of Kolina, she was elected in 2019 as part of the Frente de Todos. Vessvessian previously served as Minister of Social Development of Santa Cruz during the first governorship of Alicia Kirchner (2015–2019). María Rosa Martínez (born 29 September 1955) is an Argentine trade unionist and politician, currently serving as member of the Buenos Aires Province Senate, elected in 2023. A member of Kolina, she was elected to the Chamber of Deputies in 2019 as part of the Frente de Todos. Martínez previously worked in a number of positions in the Ministry of Social Development during the administration of Alicia Kirchner (2007–2015), and as a city councillor in Almirante Brown. Alicia Kirchner
Alicia Margarita Kirchner (born 18 July 1946) is an Argentine politician. She is the elder sister of the late former President Néstor Kirchner and served in his government as Minister of Social Development, a role which she held under President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, her sister-in-law, until the end of her presidential term on 9 December 2015. Frente De Todos (2019 Coalition)
The Frente de Todos (translated as "Everyone's Front") is a coalition of Peronist and Kirchnerist political parties in Argentina formed to support President Alberto Fernández and Vice President Cristina Kirchner. Fernández won the 2019 general election with over 48% of the vote, defeating incumbent Mauricio Macri in the first round. The coalition currently holds a majority in the Argentine Senate and minority in the Chamber of Deputies; in both houses it is conformed as a unified bloc. List Of Governors In Argentina
Argentina is subdivided into twenty-three provinces, each of it counting with its own governor. The country is organized under a federal system, so each province has its own constitution, and the powers and regulations of each governor vary. Buenos Aires is not a province, nor is it part of Buenos Aires Province. The 1994 amendment of the Constitution of Argentina made it an autonomous city, with its own constitution, ruled by an elected mayor (Buenos Aires City Chief of Government). 2019 Argentine General Election
General elections were held in Argentina on 27 October 2019, to elect the president of Argentina, members of the national congress and the governors of most provinces.
