Kolbrún Halldórsdóttir
Kolbrún Halldórsdóttir (born 31 July 1955) is the chairman of BHM (Iceland), BHM, the confederation of university graduates in Iceland. She is a former politician with the Left-Green Movement. She was a member of the Althing (Iceland's parliament) for Reykjavík (Althing constituency), Reykjavík constituencies from 1999. She didn't get re-elected in 2009. Halldórsdóttir was Minister for the Environment (Iceland), Minister for the Environment and Minister for Nordic Cooperation (Iceland), Minister for Nordic Cooperation, in 2009. She has been s President of ECA – European Council of Artists (2011). Supporting prisoner artists Kolbrún Halldórsdóttir, as the president of ECA, joined the biggest international campaign Freemuse for the release of Iranian musician Mehdi Rajabian and his brother, film-maker Hossein Rajabian; he was signed by the following of the ARJ group. Hossein Rajabian
Hossein Rajabian (; born 5 July 1984) is an Iranian filmmaker, writer and photographer who was imprisoned as a political prisoner in 2015 on charges related to his filmmaking. He is an anti-censorship filmmaker and defender of freedom of speech for the arts. Artistic activities Hossein Rajabian started off his artistic career in a theater school. Later he made his debut in cinema by making and editing short and documentary films. His artistic résumé is dotted with different projects ranging from making (feature) films, writing a number of screenplays for feature films, essays on cinema, plays, and carrying out artistic-photographical projects and film workshops. Mehdi Rajabian
Mehdi Rajabian (; born October 1989) is an Iranian composer and musician. He was imprisoned for pursuing illegal musical activities in 2013 and 2015. In 2019, he released the album ''Middle Eastern'' in collaboration with a number of other Middle Eastern artists. Rajabian as the first composer who received the Minority Award of the United Nations. Rajabian has collaborated with musicians including Harvey Mason Jr., Jeff Coffin, Daniel Ho, Wouter Kellerman, Taylor Eigsti, Nicole Zuraitis, Emmanuele Baldini in different projects. Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir
Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir (; born 4 October 1942) is an Icelandic politician, who served as prime minister of Iceland from 2009 to 2013. Elected as an MP from 1978 to 2013, she was appointed as Iceland's Minister of Social Affairs and Social Security, serving from 1987 to 1994, and from 2007 until 2009. In 1994, when she lost a bid to head the Social Democratic Party, she raised her fist and declared "''Minn tími mun koma!''" ("My time will come!"), a phrase that became a popular Icelandic expression. Later in 1994, she left the party and formed her own party, National Awakening (''Þjóðvaki''), with her as leader.
