Kolbjørn Almlid
Kolbjørn Almlid (born 2 June 1945) is a Norwegian businessperson and politician for the Centre Party. He hails from Verran Municipality. From 1989 to 1990, during Syse's Cabinet, he was appointed State Secretary in the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy. He served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Nord-Trøndelag during the term 1989–1993. From 1991 to 1995 he was county mayor of Nord-Trøndelag. Outside politics, he was a director in the Norwegian Industrial and Regional Development Fund, later named Innovation Norway following a merger. Almlid has chaired the Central Norway Regional Health Authority from 2006 to 2012, and Nord-Trøndelag Elektrisitetsverk, and was a board member of Vinmonopolet from 1998 to 2000. Kolbjørn Buøen
Kolbjørn Buøen (20 January 1895 – 5 October 1975) was a Norwegian actor. He was born in Flå. He made his stage debut at Den Nationale Scene in Bergen in 1920. He played "the hangman" in the first stage adaptation of Pär Lagerkvist's ''Bödeln'' in 1934, a play that received much attention. Buøen was appointed at Den Nationale Scene from 1920 to 1938, and thereafter at Nationaltheatret from 1938 to 1965. He made his film debut in 1951, in ''Kranes konditori ''Kranes konditori'' (Krane's Café) is a Norway, Norwegian drama film from 1951 directed by Astrid Henning-Jensen. Kolbjørn Fjeld
Kolbjørn Fjeld (4 June 1901 – 4 May 1978) was a Norwegian librarian and publisher. He chaired the publishing house Tiden Norsk Forlag between 1933 and 1971. Biography Fjeld was born in Eidskog Municipality on 4 June 1901, a son of schoolteacher Ole Fjeld and Sofie Gundersen. In 1933 he married dentist Randi Utheim Medbø. He worked for the library Deichmanske bibliotek from 1919 to 1933. He graduated as a master of science from the Columbia University in 1930. From 1933 to 1971 he chaired the publishing house Tiden Norsk Forlag (except during World War II, when the occupants had the company closed). Kolbjørn Hauge
Kolbjørn Hauge (2 April 1926 – 15 August 2007) was a Norwegian schoolteacher, crime fiction and non-fiction writer. He was awarded the Riverton Prize for 1995 for the crime novel ''Død mann i boks''. Early and personal life Hauge was born at Kyrkjøy on Finnøy in Ryfylke. He was the son of Kolbein Andersson Hauge (1889–1972) and Marianne Rasmusdotter Auglænd (1893–1967). His brother was journalist, novelist, poet and historian Alfred Hauge (1915–1986). Hauge grew up in a pietistic rural environment. He had a versatile career including a gardener, fisherman, roadworker, clerk and sailor before embarking on a career in education. He obtained a teacher's degree at Stord/Haugesund University College which he attended from 1947-51. Kolbjørn Lyslo (born 1975) is a Norwegian musician from Tromsø, Norway, although he moved to Oslo in 1994. He produces house music under the name of Doc L Junior (short for Doctor Lyslo Junior). He is a former member of band Aedena Cycle, and he has released several 12" records under the UK label Music for Freaks. Kolbjørn Skaare (6 April 1931 – 3 June 2017) was a Norwegian numismatist. Early and personal life Skaare was born on 6 April 1931 in Strinda Municipality (in current Trondheim Municipality) to Sevald Skaare and Thora Rogne, and grew up in Vang Municipality, where his father was assigned with the agricultural research farm of . He married Marit Olafsdatter Bjørnstad in 1959. He died in Oslo on 3 June 2017. Career After finishing his secondary education at Hamar Cathedral School, Skaare studied history, Latin and Greek language at the University of Oslo. He was assigned with the Coin Cabinet (Myntkabinettet) from 1954, as conservator from 1958. Kolbjørn Stordrange (27 September 1924 in Nes, Vest-Agder – 18 November 2004) was a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Vest-Agder in 1969, and was re-elected on one occasion. He had previously served as a deputy representative during the terms 1958–1961 and 1965–1969.
