is a Japanese musician, keyboard player, arranger, music director and producer from Tokyo. Music career He is the composer, keyboardist, arranger, and musical producer for artists such as Yo Hitoto, Miki Imai, Tomomi Kahara, JUJU, Yuzu, and Ken Hirai among others. He has also been a music director and supervisor for several TV programs, including FNS Music Festival and Music Fair. In 2006 he was part of a special unit called Kokua, together with other Japanese musicians, to record the theme song for a NHK documentary program. Gota Yashiki
, born 26 February 1962, is a Japanese musician. He performs an independent acid jazz artist and drum/bass player, and was a member of English band Simply Red. Biography Born in Kyoto, Japan, on 26 February 1962, where at a young age he learned how to play traditional Japanese drums, he moved to Tokyo in 1982 to join a reggae/dub band that became known as Mute Beat. Together with Mute Beat band member Kazufumi Kodama, he worked on various projects and formed the duo Kodama & Gota. From 1986 on, Yashiki entered the European music scene, collaborating with numerous well-known artists, including Soul II Soul, Sinéad O'Connor and Seal, while also working on film soundtracks and re-mixes. is a Japanese musician and singer-songwriter from Tokyo known for writing the theme songs for several anime, movies and commercial ads. His name in kanji is . He uses katakana as his professional name. Prior to career Suga went to in Suginami, Tokyo. After graduating from Tokyo Keizai University in 1989, he worked as a "salaryman" for four years in the advertisement industry. Beginning and major debut By 1993, at 27, he had set his mind on becoming a musician. He already had a number of lyrics written.
