Kokkedal Station
Kokkedal Station is a railway station serving the suburb of Kokkedal on the east coast of North Zealand, north of central Copenhagen. The station is located on the coast between Helsingør and Copenhagen. The train services are currently operated by Danish State Railways. Bus Links There are currently five bus routes which operate out of the station (30/10/2017), of which two are S-buses, two are local services and one is an R-bus. Services are as follows: * 150S to Nørreport St. * 500S to Ørestad St. * 353 to Helsingør St. * 383 to Mikkelborg Park * 383 to Rungsted Kyst St. * 365R to Fredensborg St. At peak times, the S-bus routes operate with 6 buses-per-hour (bph), the local routeswith 2 bph and the R-bus with 2 bph. Hørsholm () is an urban area on the Øresund coast approximately north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It covers most of Hørsholm Municipality and straddles the borders neighbouring Fredensborg Municipality and Rudersdal Municipality. Hørsholm proper is developed around Hirschholm Palace, which was constructed in the 1730s, but the town has later absorbed several of the nearby communities that are of much older origins. Coast Line (Denmark)
Kystbanen ("The Coast Line") is a regional rail, regional railway line between Helsingør (Elsinore) and Copenhagen in Denmark. It was opened in 1897, and is one of the busiest railway lines in Denmark. Kystbanen is operated by Danish State Railways (DSB). Its original terminus was Østerport Station, but when the station was connected with Copenhagen Central Station in 1917, the terminus moved there. When the Øresund Bridge opened in 2000, service extended to Malmö in Sweden, though the section between Copenhagen and Malmö is a separate railway, the Øresund Line. Banedanmark (; previously Banestyrelsen) is a Danish agency that is responsible for the maintenance and traffic control on all of the state owned Danish railway network. History In 1997, Banedanmark came into existence, having been branched off from DSB as a government agency.
