Koge-Donbo
is a Japanese manga artist. Koge-Donbo* started her career soon after college as a doujinshi artist. She got the idea of a unique pen-name, Kobe-Donbo* from Akira Toriyama's pet cat. She made her first official US appearance at Otakon 2004 in Baltimore, MD as a Guest of Honor. Before that, she appeared at the AnimeGamers USA retail store in Los Angeles, California on July 7, 2002, for an autograph session promoting her ''Chocola 2001'' artbook. She returned for another autograph session at the same store on August 3, 2004. She was a Guest of Honor at Anime Expo 2006, presenting the world premiere of the new Di Gi Charat animation series. Kamichama Karin
is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Koge-Donbo about a seventh grade girl named Karin who finds out that she can transform into a goddess. The series began as a manga first serialized in January 2003. Kamichama Karin was serialized in the Japanese shōjo manga magazine ''Nakayoshi'' and published by Kodansha. While the first manga series ended at seven bound volumes, a second titled ''Kamichama Karin Chu'' (''Little goddess Karin kiss'') began serialization in the same magazine in July 2006, and as of April 2008, the series ended with seven bound volumes being released. ''Kamichama Karin'' has been licensed in North America by Tokyopop. Del Rey Manga published ''Kamichama Karin Chu'' between June 24, 2008 and January 26, 2010. Dejiko à La Mode
, also known as Dejiko or Digiko, is the main protagonist of the manga and anime of the same name created by Koge-Donbo. Dejiko is a princess of a planet that is also called Di Gi Charat and she is also depicted as a catgirl which is highlighted by her ending each sentence with the cat sound 'nyo'. Dejiko can be violent at times and will resort to using her special ability, eye-beams, to inflict damage on others. She is close friends with her sidekick Puchiko who has a contrasting personality to that of Dejiko's. is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koge-Donbo. The manga began serialization in Mag Garden's magazine ''Monthly Comic Blade'' in July 2008. As of May 2011, seven volumes have been released. Plot Takenomaru Sagami is a violinist prodigy with a contract to fulfill. When he was 11 years old, Takenomaru contracted smallpox and became critically ill. Constantly feeling unwanted and hated throughout his life, he looked towards death as an escape. is a Japanese anime series developed by J.C.Staff. It premiered in Japan on TBS on October 2, 2001, and ran for 24 episodes until its conclusion March 26, 2002.
