Koen Lamberts
Koenraad Lamberts (born 1964) is a British/Belgian psychologist and academic. Since 2018, he has served as President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Sheffield. From 2014 to 2018, he was the Vice-Chancellor of the University of York. Previously, he had taught at the University of Chicago, University of Birmingham, and the University of Warwick. Lamberts was chair of UCAS between 2019 and 2020. During his time at Sheffield, Lamberts oversaw the closure of its "world-renowned archaeology department". Early life and education Lamberts was born in Hasselt, Belgium. He studied at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven). He holds two undergraduate degrees: a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in philosophy (1985) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in psychology (1987). The University of Sheffield (informally Sheffield University or TUOS) is a public university, public research university in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. Trudy Norris-Grey is a Welsh businesswoman, and a well-recognised leader in the UK, globally, and in the tech industry. In 2020, Norris-Grey was appointed as UCAS' first independent chair of its board of trustees. Saul Tendler a British pharmacy academic, his research area is biomolecular structure and interaction. Career and background His academic background is Pharmacy, he studied at Manchester University (1979–1982) and subsequently obtained his PhD at Aston University (1983–1986).
