Kodaline
Kodaline () are an Irish rock band. Originally known as 21 Demands, the band adopted their current name in 2012 to coincide with the changing of their music. The group comprises Steve Garrigan, Vincent May, Mark Penderson and Jason Boland. Garrigan and May grew up in Swords, County Dublin, and have known each other since childhood. May and Garrigan attended Colaiste Choilm CBS, Swords, where they participated in battles of the bands. Boland joined the group in 2012. They have released four albums: '' In a Perfect World'' (2013), '' Coming Up for Air'' (2015), and '' Politics of Living'' (2018). Their fourth studio album, ''One Day at a Time'', was released on 12 June 2020. ''In a Perfect World'' is the debut studio album by Irish rock band Kodaline. The album was released in Ireland on 14 June 2013 and includes the singles " High Hopes" and " Love Like This". On 20 June 2013 the album entered the Irish Albums Chart at number 1. Critical reception ''In A Perfect World'' received generally mixed reviews from critics. The album currently has a score of 47 out of 100 on aggregate review site Metacritic, based on 9 reviews, indicating "mixed or average reviews". Stephen Harris (producer)
Stephen Harris (born 1968 in Shifnal) is an English record producer, mixer, and audio engineer. He has worked with major rock and pop artists, including Dave Matthews Band, Ben Kweller, The Wombats, and Kaiser Chiefs. Early life and career Stephen Harris was born in 1968 in Shifnal, Shropshire, England. He developed an early interest in music production and, at the age of 16, began his career as a tape operator at Zella Studios in Birmingham. Over time, he progressed to the roles of engineer and mixer, gaining experience working across musical genres. In the late 1980s, Harris joined the Slaughterhouse, a residential studio in Driffield, Yorkshire, where he further honed his engineering skills. His first notable success came through his work with the British rock band Little Angels on the track "Radical Your Lover," which reached number 28 on the UK charts. You're A Star (series 5)
The fifth series of ''You're a Star'' was broadcast in Ireland on RTÉ One from 26 November 2006 until 18 March 2007. David O'Connor from County Wexford beat 21 Demands in the final at The Helix in Dublin. He sang " On Borrowed Wings" which was later released as a download with accompanying physical release. This followed his release of "Don't Look Back in Anger" which entered the top twenty of the Irish Singles Chart. The series was broadcast on Sunday evenings at 18:30, with the results following later. The live shows began broadcasting on 14 January 2007. The two acts which finished bottom in a public vote during the live shows faced the judges who then decided which one to send home. The series also featured live performances from established acts such as McFly, Shayne Ward and Brian McFadden. Several acts from the series charted in Ireland.
