The Korean Film Awards was a South Korean film awards ceremony hosted by the broadcasting network MBC from 2002 to 2010. History Originally named the MBC Film Awards, the ceremony was first established in 2002. It was renamed the Korean Film Awards in 2003. Votes were determined from a jury of 500 film professionals and 500 viewers selected through the internet, using a 7:3 ratio. In 2009, failure to secure sponsors during the global economic recession resulted in the cancellation of that year's ceremony. It resumed in 2010, with Hyundai Motor Company as the main sponsor. But persistent financial difficulties regarding the production costs led MBC to abolish the awards in 2011. U-KISS (; ) is a South Korean boy band formed in 2008. Their name is an acronym, standing for Ubiquitous Korean International Idol Super Star. The group is currently composed of Soohyun, Yeo Hoon-min, Hoon, Lee Ki-seop, Kiseop, Alexander Lee (entertainer), Alexander Lee, and Eli Kim, Eli. Background and release In November 2010, the band's management announced that U-KISS had been recording new tracks for an upcoming EP. On March 30, 2011, the group released their fifth EP, ''Bran New Kiss'' with the lead single "0330". This was the first single that featured the two new band members, AJ and Hoon. The music video for the EP's single, "0330" was released March 29, the same day as the digital download, via YouTube. An alternate version of the music video for "0330", noted as a "Drama Version", was released on April 1 via Mnet.
