Knut Boye
Knut Boye (12 January 1937 – 21 July 2008) was a Norwegian academic, within the field of business administration. He was born in Arendal. He graduated with the siv.øk. degree from the Norwegian School of Economics in 1963, and after becoming a certified mercantile teacher there in 1966, he spent the better part of his career there, lastly as an associate professor Associate professor is an academic title with two principal meanings: in the North American system and that of the ''Commonwealth system''. In the ''North American system'', used in the United States and many other countries, it is a position .... Boye was first and foremost known as a lecturer and writer of textbooks in several fields of economics: finance, investment, acquisitions, business administration and personal economy. Siviløkonom () is an academic degree issued within the field of business administration. It consists of a 3 year bachelor's degree followed by a two years masters degree and is also a professional title in Norway (with corresponding titles in Denmark and Sweden, see below under "See also"), obtained after the total of 5 years of studies.
