Knekro
Sergio García Maroto (born May 23, 1967), known as Knekro, is a Spanish streamer, YouTuber, and former esports player. He's part of Ibai Llanos's and Gerard Piqué's esports team Movistar KOI. Biography Sergio García was born in Madrid. In 2000, at age 16, he took part in the first Pokémon World Championships, winning first place in Spain and third place in the world finals held in Sydney, Australia. In 2012, he began his career as a YouTuber, creating the first guides in Spanish for the competitive video game League of Legends. In 2017, he started broadcasting on Twitch, where he is one of the main Spanish-language streamers. Knekro belongs to the esports team KOI, where he participates as a content creator on League of Legends and competitive Pokémon, which led to his move to Barcelona in 2021. The ESLAND Awards (Spanish: ''Premios ESLAND'') are an annual awards ceremony given to content creation from Spain, Hispanic America, and Andorra, by Spanish YouTuber and streamer TheGrefg, David Cánovas Martínez "TheGrefg". The winners of each award are chosen by public vote and from among the top content creators in the Spanish-speaking community. The first edition took place on January 17, 2022, at the Palau de la Música Catalana, Barcelona, and was streamed live on the streamer's Twitch channel. With more than 1 million sixty thousand viewers, it became the third most watched stream on the platform. ''Público'' () is a Spanish online newspaper. It was published as a print daily newspaper between 2007 and 2012. The print version folded but the newspaper continues online. History and profile ''Público'' was established in September 2007. The founder is Jaume Roures, head of Mediapro. One of only two national left-wing papers (the other being eldiario.es, ''elDiario.es''), the paper had a harder-left editorial line than ''El País''. ''Público'' also aimed at a younger readership. The paper was two-thirds the length of its competitors and its price, initially only 50 cents, was less than half. The paper's original press run was 250,000 daily. After several years of financial losses, and facing a Euro, €9 million deficit, ''Público'' folded its print edition in February 2012.
