Klaus Thomsen
Klaus Thomsen (born 26 April 1986) is a Danish handball player for Bjerringbro-Silkeborg and the Danish national team. Career Klaus Thomsen's first stations as a handball player were Næssets IF and Team Haderslev. In the summer of 2004, he joined the backcourt Viborg HK on. He was initially injured again, after which he joined the second division side Lemvig-Thyborøn Håndbold. In 2009, Lemvig rose to the highest Danish league. After Lemvig 2012 had to go to the gear in the second division, changed the defense specialist to Team Tvis Holstebro. With Team Tvis Holstebro he was in the final four of the EHF Europa Cup 2012/13. In addition to his playing career, he worked as a coach of a youth team of Tvis KFUM and at the Elitesport Academy in Holstebro. Since the season 2014/15 he is at Bjerringbro-Silkeborg under contract. With Bjerringbro-Silkeborg he won the 2016 championship. TTH Holstebro is a men's handball club from Holstebro, Denmark. The team is playing in the Danish Primo Tours Ligaen and play their home matches in Gråkjær Arena. History The club was founded in May 2000, when Holstebro Håndbold 90 and Tvis KFUM merged their first teams to create the new club. The Denmark men's national handball team ( da, Danmarks håndboldlandshold, Denmark's national handball team) is controlled by the Danish Handball Association and represents Denmark in international matches. The European Handball Federation (EHF) is the umbrella organisation for European handball. Founded on 17 November 1991, it is made of 50 member federations and two associated federations (England and Scotland), and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. The Danish Men's Handball League, formerly known as Herrehåndboldligaen is the men's top Danish professional handball league. The winners of the Danish Men's Handball League are recognised as the Danish men's handball champions. The current champions are GOG Håndbold.
