Klara Augusta Linnéa Andersson (born 29 February 2000) is a Swedish rallycross driver who currently competes in the FIA World Rallycross Championship for the CE Dealer Team. Biography A member of the Sweden Junior National Team of Motorsport, Andersson started her career in karting before switching to rallycross in 2018 after a five-year hiatus. She made her way up the national motorsport scene, including a wildcard appearance at the 2019 RallyX Nordic season finale, and finished runner-up in the JSM (Junior) class of the 2020 Swedish Rallycross Championship, driving a BMW 120. The following year she made the step up to the SM (Senior) 2150 class, unexpectedly winning the title in her first season in a field that consisted of more than 50 drivers. Tamara Molinaro (born 10 October 1997) is an Italian rally driver who most recently raced at JBXE and as the championship reserve driver at Extreme E. She won the FIA European Rally Championship Ladies' Trophy in 2017 before moving on to World Rally Championship-2, TitansRX and the Italian Gravel Championship, where she is a double ladies' champion. The European Rallycross Championship (former abbreviation ERC, now Euro RX or ERX) is a rallycross competition held in Europe, organised under the auspices of the FIA. History The predecessor championship began in 1973 as the Embassy/ERA European Rallycross Championship. In 1976 the FIA created regulations for rallycross, including Group 5 regulations for the cars, and awarded the first official European cup. For 1978 two classes became introduced, one class for Touring cars and one for Grand Touring cars, but the FIA European Cup was for the driver with the most scored points from both Divisions, Norwegian Martin Schanche. In 1979 Schanche claimed the first ever true FIA European Championship title. World RX Of Portugal
The World RX of Portugal is a rallycross event held in Portugal that is part of the FIA World Rallycross Championship. The event made its debut in the championship's inaugural 2014 season, at the Pista Automóvel de Montalegre in the northern town of Montalegre, close to the Spanish border. It was removed from the series calendar ahead of the 2019 season, marking the first time in the championship's history that the event was not run. The event was set to return in 2020 but was later cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 12 May 2021; it was announced that the event would return in 2021 instead of the World RX of Norway as the final round of the calendar. 2024 Extreme E Championship
The 2024 Extreme E Championship was the fourth and final season of the Extreme E electric off-road racing series, before the transition to hydrogen fuel cell cars for 2025. The season was abandoned after only 4 of the planned 10 races. Calendar On 21 December 2023, the provisional 2024 season calendar was announced. Saudi Arabia and Sardinia returned from the previous year, the latter as a double-header, with a first trip to the United States replacing Chile as the season finale in America. There was a five-month gap between the season opener in Saudi Arabia and rounds three and four, to take place at an undisclosed location in Europe, later confirmed to be Scotland. On 6 September 2024, a week before the scheduled Island X-Prix, Extreme E announced the cancellation of the remaining rounds in Sardinia and Phoenix, with Alejandro Agag said to be "reviewing alternative solutions" to complete the season. The Dakar Rally () or simply "The Dakar" (), formerly known as the Paris–Dakar Rally (), is an annual rally raid organised by the Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO). It is an off-road endurance event traversing terrain much tougher than conventional rallying, and the vehicles used are typically true off-road vehicles and motorcycles, rather than modified on-road vehicles. Most of the competitive special sections are off-road, crossing dunes, mud, camel grass, rocks, and erg. Stages vary from short distances up to per day.
