Klan (magazine)
''Klan'' is an Albanian language weekly political and finance magazine based in Tirana, Albania. The weekly provides economic and political news. History and profile ''Klan'' was first published in February 1997. Businessmen Marsel Skendo and Julien Roche, journalists Aleksander Frangaj, Armand Shkullaku, Andi Bushati, Edmond Laci, Sokol Balla, and designer Suad Barbullushi, are the co-founders of the magazine. The latter also worked as an editor in the magazine. ''Klan'' is one of the publications and media outlets owned by Klan group. As of 2002 the publisher of the magazine was Media 5 company which also published '' Korrieri'', a daily. Later ''Klan'' became part of the ADA group. The group also owns Klan TV. The magazine focuses on political and economic news. As of 2007 Andi Bushati was the editor of the magazine which is published weekly. It has its headquarters in Tirana. Korrieri () was an Albanian language daily newspaper. History and profile Established on 28 March 2001 as a berliner type publication, ''Korrieri'' was for a period (April 2007 - January 2009) on the front line of transforming Albanian journalism into a more market-driven activity exhibiting a British tabloid style newspaper which offered a vast range of articles of popular interest. Televizioni Klan, also shortened to TV Klan, is an Albanian private television network with national coverage, based in Tirana, Albania. History and profile TV Klan launched as an Albanian joint-venture, with its first broadcast airing on 25 October 1997. It is the first private TV channel in Albania. On 1 August 1998, at 7:30 PM (19:30), TV Klan made its first news report ever on its channel. The first chronicle of TV Klan is about the murder of Taulant Buça. Edi Rama
Edi Rama (born Edvin Kristaq Rama; 4 July 1964) is an Albanian politician, artist and writer who has been serving as the 33rd and incumbent prime minister of Albania since 2013 and chairman of the Socialist Party of Albania since 2005. He was Ministry of Culture (Albania), Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports from 1998 to 2000. First elected mayor of Tirana in 2000, he was reelected in 2003 and 2007. The coalition of centre-left parties led by Rama in the 2013 Albanian parliamentary election defeated the incumbent centre-right coalition led by Sali Berisha of the Democratic Party of Albania.
