Kla Tham Party (KT; Thai: พรรคกล้าธรรม, lit. 'Brave Dharma Party') is a populist political party in Thailand. The party was officially founded on April 7, 2020, under its original name, the Thai Economic Party. The party is currently led by Narumon Pinyosinwat and serves as the political affiliation of the Thammanat Group, a faction of breakaway MPs from Palang Pracharath and Pheu Thai party, led by Thamanat Prompow. Currently, it is a junior party in the ruling government coalition. History As the Thai Economic Party The Thai Economic Party (TEP) was officially registered as a political entity on April 7, 2020, under registration number 1/2563. Its founding leadership consisted of Prasong Wararattanakul as party leader and Methawi Netsawai as secretary-general. Narumon Pinyosinwat
Narumon Pinyosinwat (, born 29 October 1973) is a Thai politician and currently serves as the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (Thailand), Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives under Paetongtarn Shinawatra’s government. She previously served as the Thai Trade Representative and as the Deputy Minister of Labour in the Second Prayut cabinet, second cabinet of Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha. She previously served as government spokesperson. Early life and education Narumon was born on 29 October 1973 in Bangkok. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics (Applied Mathematics) from Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Chulalongkorn University before continuing to study until completing a master's degree Master of Science (Applied Mathematics) at Georgia State University.
