Kjersti Scheen
Kjersti Scheen (born 17 August 1943) is a Norwegian journalist, illustrator, novelist, crime fiction writer and children's writer. She made her literary debut in 1976 with the children's book ''Fie og mørket''. Her novel ''Teppefall'' from 1994 introduced a series of crime novels with ex actress "Margaret Moss" as the main character. Scheen was awarded the Gyldendal's Endowment in 1994 (shared with Bjørn Aamodt Bjørn Aamodt (24 February 1944 – 29 April 2006) was a Norwegian seaman, industrial worker and poet. Oslo
Oslo ( , , or ; sma, Oslove) is the capital and most populous city of Norway. It constitutes both a county and a municipality. The municipality of Oslo had a population of in 2022, while the city's greater urban area had a population of in 2019, and the metropolitan area had an estimated population of in 2021. During the Viking Age the area was part of Viken. Oslo was founded as a city at the end of the Viking Age in 1040 under the name Ánslo, and established as a ''kaupstad'' or trading place in 1048 by Harald Hardrada. Gyldendal's Endowment
Gyldendal's Endowment was a literature prize which was awarded in the period 1934–1995 by the Norwegian publisher Gyldendal Norsk Forlag. The prize was awarded to significant authors, regardless of which publisher the author was associated with.
