Kitty Rehberg
Kathleen "Kitty" Rehberg (née Kaesser; born October 16, 1938) is an American politician in the state of Iowa. A Republican Party (United States), Republican, she served in the Iowa Senate as the representative for the Iowa's 14th Senate district, 14th district from 1997 to 2003 and as the representative for the Iowa's 12th Senate district, 12th district from 2003 to 2005. Early life Rehberg was born on October 16, 1938, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Her parents are Nina and Delbert Kaesser. She attended Rowley Consolidated School and Kirkwood Community College. Rehberg was a farmer. She continued to function in that capacity before and after serving as a state senator for the Republican Party in Buchanan County. The Iowa Senate is the upper house of the Iowa General Assembly, United States. There are 50 seats in the Iowa Senate, representing 50 single-member districts across the Iowa, state of Iowa with populations of approximately 60,927 per constituency, . Each Senate district is composed of two House districts. The Senate meets at the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines, Iowa, Des Moines. Unlike the lower house, the Iowa House of Representatives, Senators serve four-year terms, with no Term limits in the United States, term limits.
