Kitty Rehberg
Kathleen "Kitty" Rehberg (née Kaesser; born October 16, 1938) is an American politician in the state of Iowa. A Republican Party (United States), Republican, she served in the Iowa Senate as the representative for the Iowa's 14th Senate district, 14th district from 1997 to 2003 and as the representative for the Iowa's 12th Senate district, 12th district from 2003 to 2005. Early life Rehberg was born on October 16, 1938, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Her parents are Nina and Delbert Kaesser. She attended Rowley Consolidated School and Kirkwood Community College. Rehberg was a farmer. She continued to function in that capacity before and after serving as a state senator for the Republican Party in Buchanan County. There are 50 seats in the Iowa Senate, representing 50 single-member districts across the Iowa, state of Iowa with populations of approximately 60,927 per constituency, . Cedar Rapids () is the second-largest city in Iowa, United States and is the county seat of Linn County. The city lies on both banks of the Cedar River, north of Iowa City and northeast of Des Moines, the state's capital and largest city.
