Kitty Films Co., Ltd. (キティフィルム ''Kabushiki-gaisha Kiti Firumu'') was a production company established in 1972 in Japan. They were a pioneer in releasing full anime television series in a single set. The sound recording work by Ken'ichi Benitani on their 1979 film, ''Almost Transparent Blue'', was co-nominated (with Benitani's work on another film) for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Recording at the 3rd Japan Academy Film Prize ceremony in 1980. History The company was first established in 1972 as Kitty Music Corporation under Hidenori Taga, producing TV drama soundtracks. Their first was for the 1972 film ''Hajimete no Tabi''. Kabushiki Gaisha
A or ''kabushiki kaisha'', commonly abbreviated K.K. or KK, is a type of defined under the Companies Act of Japan. The term is often translated as "stock company", "joint-stock company" or "stock corporation". The term ''kabushiki gaisha'' in Japan refers to any joint-stock company regardless of country of origin or incorporation; however, outside Japan the term refers specifically to joint-stock companies incorporated in Japan. Usage in language In Latin script, ''kabushiki kaisha'', with a , is often used, but the original Japanese pronunciation is ''kabushiki gaisha'', with a , owing to ''rendaku''. It was serialized in Shogakukan's manga magazine '' Big Comic Spirits'' from 1986 to 1992, with its chapters collected in 28 volumes. The story follows Gunma Akagi, a country boy who fulfills his dream by racing in a Formula One car. Creamy Mami, The Magic Angel
is a magical girl anime television series produced by Studio Pierrot which aired from 1983 to 1984 on Nippon Television. It went on to have four OVA adaptions and featured in other Studio Pierrot special presentations. A three-volume manga was released during the original TV run, with the story written by Kazunori Itō and art by Yuuko Kitagawa. This was the first magical girl anime to be produced by Pierrot, and the first original work from the studio. In 2005, the web poll for TV Asahi's top-100 anime of all time saw ''Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel'' poll 82nd. ''The Adventures of T-Rex'' (T-レックス (''T-rekkusu'')) is an animated TV series that aired in syndication from September 14 to November 24, 1992 in North America. The show features five musical ''Tyrannosaurus'' brothers who played to sold-out crowds as a vaudeville group for the Dragon company. The company was owned by the beautiful and wealthy Myrna.
