''Hollyoaks'' is a British television soap opera first broadcast on 23 October 1995. The following is a list of characters that appear in 2024, by order of first appearance. All characters are introduced by the soap's executive producers, Hannah Cheers and Angelo Abela until June 2024 when Abela departed leaving Cheers as sole executive producer. Kitty Draper was introduced in January, followed by Abe Fielding. Declan Hawthorne made his debut in February. Arlo Fielding made his debut in March. Donny Clark was introduced in April. Noah Dexter appeared in May, followed by Martha Blake and her son Jeremy Blake. As of 16 September 2024, all episodes and events are set a year later as a time jump aired in that episode. ''Hollyoaks'' is a British soap opera which originally began airing on Channel 4 on 23 October 1995. It was created by Phil Redmond, who had previously conceived the soap opera ''Brookside (TV series), Brookside''. From 2005 to 2023, episodes have aired on sister channel E4 (TV channel), E4 a day prior to their broadcast on Channel 4. In 2023, ''Hollyoaks'' was removed from Channel 4's early evening schedule, but remains on E4 and Channel 4 (VoD service), Channel 4's on demand service with episodes now uploaded to YouTube. Warren Fox is a fictional character from the British soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', portrayed by Jamie Lomas. The character and casting were announced on 12 May 2006, and Warren made his first appearance on 26 June. He was introduced as an old acquaintance of Sean Kennedy ( Matthew Jay Lewis). Ste Hay (also McQueen) is a fictional character from the British soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Kieron Richardson. He debuted on-screen during the episode airing on 10 February 2006.
