Kit Pellow
Kit Donovan Pellow (born August 28, 1973) is a former professional baseball utility player. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Kansas City Royals and Colorado Rockies, in the KBO League for the Lotte Giants, and in the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) for the La New Bears. Career Pellow was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 60th round of the 1994 Major League Baseball draft, but he did not sign. He played collegiately for Johnson County Community College and the University of Arkansas. He was drafted by the Royals again in the 22nd round of the 1996 Major League Baseball draft. He signed, and made his Major League Baseball debut on August 14, 2002. Pellow broke up a no-hit bid by Tom Glavine of the New York Mets in the 8th inning of a game between the Colorado Rockies and New York Mets at Shea Stadium on May 23, 2004. First Baseman
A first baseman, abbreviated 1B, is the player on a baseball or softball team who fields the area nearest first base, the first of four bases a baserunner must touch in succession to score a run. The first baseman is responsible for the majority of plays made at that base. In the numbering system used to record defensive plays, the first baseman is assigned the number 3. Also called first sacker or cornerman, the first baseman is ideally a tall player who throws left-handed and possesses good flexibility and quick reflexes. Broncos De Reynosa
Los Broncos de Reynosa (English: Reynosa Broncos) were a Mexican team that played in the Adolfo Lopez Mateos stadium in the city of Reynosa, Tamaulipas. The Broncos de Reynosa played in the Liga Mexicana de Beisbol and it was part of the Zona Norte division. The Broncos returned to Reynosa's Stadium Adolfo Lopez Mateos in March 2009 through the efforts of Mayor Oscar Luebbeert. Major improvements to the stadium were made to attract fans. The stadium went into some major improvements that include converting the stadium into a big skeleton in order to renew installations, new parking section, new WC areas, new box seats. Mexican Pacific League
The Mexican Pacific League (, or LMP), also known as the Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico for sponsorship reasons, is a professional baseball Winter league baseball, winter league based in Northwestern Mexico. The league comprises 10 teams. It was founded in 1945. The league's champion takes part in the Caribbean Series each year. The sixty eight-game regular season is split in two halves. After each half, the teams are awarded points. The first place team earns ten points, while the last place team earns three and a half points. Yaquis De Ciudad Obregón
The Yaqui, Hiaki, or Yoeme, are an Indigenous people of Mexico and Native American tribe, who speak the Yaqui language, a Uto-Aztecan language. Their primary homelands are in Río Yaqui valley in the northwestern Mexican state of Sonora. Today, there are eight Yaqui Pueblos in Sonora. Some Yaqui fled state violence to settle in Arizona. They formed the Pascua Yaqui Tribe of Arizona, based in Tucson, Arizona, which is the only federally recognized Yaqui tribe in the United States. The Tomateros de Culiacán () are a professional baseball team in the Mexican Pacific League based in Culiacán, Sinaloa. The ''Tomateros'' have won thirteen league championships and two Caribbean World Series in and . The team was founded in 1965 as part of the Sonora-Sinaloa League. The Saraperos de Saltillo (English: Saltillo Serapes) are a professional baseball team in the Mexican League. Their home ballpark is the Estadio de Béisbol Francisco I. Madero in Saltillo, Coahuila.
