Kit Clayton
Joshua Kit Clayton, better known by his stage name Kit Clayton, is a San Francisco-based electronic and digital musician and computer programmer. He is a developer at San Francisco software company Cycling 74, Cycling '74, helping create the Max (software), Max/Max/MSP, MSP MIDI/audio programming environment. He is also a significant contributor to Max (software), Jitter, the multi-dimensional data set processing and visualizing architecture for audio, video, and 3D graphics (part of the Max multimedia package). Clayton uses Max, MSP, and Jitter extensively in his own abstract musical compositions, which have been described as including aspects of Ambient music, ambient computer music and glitch (music), glitch. In 2000 Clayton founded and operated his own label, Orthlorng Musork. Blevin Blectum
Blevin Blectum (born Bevin Kelley) is an American electronic musician and multimedia composer. She is celebrated as an "icon of deviant and cerebral electronic music". Early life and education She was born Bevin Kelley in 1971. Her younger brother is musician Kelley Polar and her cousin is musician Rayna Russom. Blectum studied the violin during her youth. At Oberlin College she began making electronic music at the WOBC-FM studios. At Mills College, she partnered with Kevin Blechdom to form Blectum from Blechdom, an electronica and performance art duo. In 2001, Blectum from Blechdom won an Award of Distinction for digital music at the Prix Ars Electronica. Andy Dixon (born 25 August 1979) is a Canadian artist and musician, who gained notoriety as a member of the North Vancouver punk rock band d.b.s. He founded the record label Ache Records, and later played in The Red Light Sting. Beginning in 2003, during the final months of The Red Light Sting, he began to cut up audio recordings he made himself and compose glitch/ IDM music under the alias Secret Mommy, though he used The Epidemic for his first solo release. Blectum from Blechdom is an electronic music duo, formed in 1998 by Kristin Erickson (Kevin Blechdom) and Bevin Kelley (Blevin Blectum). Erickson and Kelley met at Mills College in Oakland, California.
