Kiss FM Chisinau
Kiss FM is a Top40/Hit Radio station from Romania, owned by ANT1 Group. The station was rebranded from the old Radio Contact, after being purchased by a Belgian radio network, on 5 November 2003, but it began in Bucharest on 25 February 1990, and in the Republic of Moldova in 1998, în Chișinău. The rebranding came with a number of "on air" personalities, such as Șerban Huidu and Mihai Găinușă, the new network quickly got to be one of the most popular hit stations in Romania where it covers the main cities. Kiss FM Romania also has a branch in Chişinău, the capital of Moldova, that broadcasts a mix between Kiss FM in Bucharest and local radio programmes. On 23 December 2013 Kiss FM was bought by ANT1 Group after ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG sold its operations in Romania. On 15 January 2014 Șerban Huidu left the radio station. Mihai Alexandru Găinuşă (born November 6, 1970, in Sibiu) is a Romanian radio and TV star, who is co-hosting the morning show on Kiss FM Romania, Kiss FM radio and a weekly satire show (''Cronica Cârcotaşilor'') on the Romanian station Prima TV. In 2015 he was chosen by Universal Pictures to dub the narrator voice in Romanian for the animated movie Minions (film), ''Minions''. Romanian (obsolete spelling: Roumanian; , or , ) is the official and main language of Romania and Moldova. Romanian Record Charts
Multiple record charts have been inaugurated in Romania since the 1990s. The Romanian Top 100 was the country's national chart until 2012. Founded in 1995, it was a ranking based on the compilation of charts submitted by local Romanian radio stations. The Romanian Top 100 was published weekly and was also announced during a radio show starting in 1998. Compilation of the list was first handled by Body M Production A-V, followed by Media Forest. In the 2010s, the chart was announced during a podcast on Kiss FM (Romania), Kiss FM, but the broadcast ended in February 2012. Later that month, the Airplay 100—which was compiled by Media Forest and also broadcast by Kiss FM—replaced the Romanian Top 100 as a national chart. Șerban Huidu
Șerban Sebastian Huidu (born July 16, 1976 in Bucharest) is a Romanian radio and TV star. He hosted, together with Mihai Găinușă, the morning show on Romanian radio station Kiss FM, and a weekly satire show ('' Cronica Cârcotaşilor'') on the Romanian channel Prima TV. Biography Education and career Șerban Huidu graduated from the Faculty of General Economics within ASE Bucharest and, until now, he has never worked in this field. Also during college, he realized his passion for the media, working for a radio station in Bucharest where he worked for six months without being paid. In 1995 Șerban Huidu got a job at a radio station, and in 1997 he started the show Cronica Cârcotașului on Radio 21, a pamphlet addressed to the politicians of that time.
