''Kismat'' is an Indian drama television series which airs on Sony Entertainment Television. The series is produced by YRF Television and premiered on 14 February 2011. It is an Indian adaptation of British author Jeffrey Archer's 1979 novel, '' Kane and Abel''. The story is set in Mumbai, India. It revolves around the stories of two men born worlds apart. ''Kismat'' () is a 1968 Indian Hindi-language film directed by Manmohan Desai, produced by Kamal Mehra and released under the banner of Pride of Asia Films. It stars Biswajeet, Babita, Helen and Kamal Mehra in prominent roles. Other notable actors in the film are Bhagwan Sinha, Murad, M. B. Shetty (father of Rohit Shetty), Hari Shivdasani, Hiralal, Indra Kumar, Jagdish Raj (as Jagdishraj), Polsan, Prem Kumar, Paul Sharma, Tun Tun and Ullhas. ''Kismat'' () is a 1995 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Harmesh Malhotra. It stars Govinda and Mamta Kulkarni. Plot Rajan (Kabir Bedi) gets Geeta (Raakhee) pregnant and wants her to get an abortion, but Geeta refuses, and gives birth to a baby boy and leaves him in an orphanage. Kismat Radio was a radio station broadcasting from the Crystal Palace Transmitter in south-east London. ''Qismat'' () is a 2018 Punjabi romantic drama film written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu. Produced by Shri Narotam Ji Productions, the film stars Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta in lead roles along with Guggu Gill, Tania and Harby Sangha in supporting roles. It was titled after a 2017 song of the same name, sung by Virk and starring Mehta in its music video. The film follows a man who falls in love whilst studying in Chandigarh, despite his marriage being arranged to another woman. It marked feature film debut for Tania. Principal photography took place within a single schedule that lasted 45 days in Chandigarh and other villages of Punjab, India, with Jalesh Oberoi serving as cinematographer.
