Kirtiraj K. Gaikwad is an India, Indian scientist and professor and specializing in packaging technology, currently serving as the Head of state, head of the Paper Technology, Paper and Packaging Technology Department at the IIT Roorkee, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. Gaikwad obtained his Master of Science, M.S. in Packaging engineering, Packaging Technology from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan, East Lansing, United States, USA (2013), and his Doctor of Philosophy, Ph.D. in Packaging engineering, Packaging Technology from Yonsei University, Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea (2018). He also served for several years as a Postdoctoral researcher, postdoctoral scientist at Polytechnique Montréal, École Polytechnique Montreal, Canada, in 2018.
