Kipp Hamilton
Kipp Hamilton (born Rita Marie Hamilton; August 16, 1934 – January 29, 1981) was an American actress. She was the younger sister of producer Joe Hamilton and the sister-in-law of Carol Burnett. Early life and family She was born Rita Marie Hamilton on August 16, 1934, in Los Angeles, California, the youngest of six children of Joseph and Marie Hamilton. One of her older brothers was producer and actor Joe Hamilton, who later married comedian Carol Burnett. Career Hamilton made her film debut in a supporting role in the RKO Radio Pictures drama '' On Our Very Own'' (1950). In March 1953, she was named "Miss Optometry" by the New York State Association of Optometrists. In mid-1955, Hamilton signed a seven-year contract with 20th Century Fox. Maria Kipp
Maria Kipp (1900–1988) was a German-born American textile designer and engineer active in the United States from the 1920s until her death. Her commissions ranged from the Salt Lake Temple in Salt Lake City to Air Force One. Life Born in Germany, Kipp was the first woman to study at the Staatliche Fachschule für Texitilindustrie (State Academy for the Textile Industry), from where she graduated in 1923 as a textile engineer. In 1924, Kipp and her first husband emigrated to the United States. They settled in Los Angeles where Kipp opened a successful studio, Ernst Haeckel Handweaves, in 1926. She founded Maria Kipp Handweaves in 1931, which specialized in handwoven furnishing fabrics for 60 years. Modernist architects such as Rudolph Schindler and Richard Neutra sought out her designs for their interiors. Mount Kipp () is located in the Lewis Range, Glacier National Park in the U.S. state of Montana. Immediately east of the summit lies the retreating Chaney Glacier. Mount Kipp is situated along the Continental Divide. The mountain is presumed to have been named for Joe Kipp, a half-breed Indian trapper and scout who tried to prevent the Marias Massacre. Geology Like other mountains in Glacier National Park, the peak is composed of sedimentary rock laid down during the Precambrian to Jurassic periods. Theodor Kipp
Louis Theodor Kipp (7 March 1862 – 2 April 1931) was a German jurist who is perhaps best known for his theory of "double nullity", under which a null contract can be challenged in some circumstances. He also made important contributions to family law and inheritance law. Life Theodor Kipp was born in 1862. He studied law at the University of Göttingen with Rudolf von Jhering and at the Leipzig University with Bernhard Windscheid. He earned his doctorate in 1883, was admitted as a lawyer in Leipzig in 1887, and obtained a position as an associate professor at the University of Halle. In 1889 he was appointed professor of Roman and civil law at the University of Kiel, and in 1893 became professor of Roman and civil law at the University of Erlangen.
