Kinna Gieth
Anna Katarina "Kinna" Gieth Castellano (née Anna Katarina Gieth) (born 21 June 1976), known as Kinna Gieth, is a Swedish writer. She was awarded the August Prize for children's and young adult literature in 1992 for her book ''I Miss You, I Miss You!'' (''Jag saknar dig, jag saknar dig!''), jointly with her co-author Peter Pohl. August Prize
The August Prize ( sv, Augustpriset) is an annual Swedish literary prize awarded each year since 1989 by the Swedish Publishers' Association. The prize is awarded to the best Swedish book of the year, in three categories. Prize In the years 1989-1992, the prize was awarded in one general category. Since 1992, the prize has been awarded in the categories Fiction, Non-Fiction, and Children's and Youth Literature. The prize is named after the writer August Strindberg. Selection All Swedish publishers may submit nominations for the award. In each category, a jury shortlists six titles each. These titles are then read and voted on by an assembly of 63 electors, 21 in each category. The electors come from across the country, and comprise booksellers, librarians and literary critics. The books receiving the largest number of votes in each category win the prize. The prizes are handed out at a gala in Stockholm. Peter Pohl
Peter Pohl (born 5 December 1940) is a Swedish author and former director and screenwriter of short films. He has received prizes for several of his books and films, as well as for his entire work. From 1966 until his retirement in 2005, he was lecturer in Numerical analysis at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. Biography ''Peter Pohl'' was born on 5 December 1940 in Hamburg, Germany. He lost his father during World War II and moved to Sweden with his mother in 1945, where he started school in 1947. He went to the ''Södra Latin'' gymnasium in Stockholm until 1959. During this period, he engaged in medium-distance running, with good results, but he quit running when he was 19 years old. From his 15th until his 30th (1970), Pohl was part of the schools summer camp at Värmdö and later at Blidö. Erik Anders Sixten Grönros (born 19 October 1953), is a Swedish film director. He was awarded the Guldbagge Award for Guldbagge Award for Best Director, Best Director at the 27th Guldbagge Awards, for the film ''Agnes Cecilia – en sällsam historia''. In 2007, his documentary ''Ambres – en död talar'', which dealt with the medium Sture Johansson, and the spirit called Ambres, was broadcast on SVT2.
