Kert Kingo
Kert Kingo (born 5 March 1968 in Tartu) is an Estonian politician. She served as Minister of Foreign Trade and Information Technology in the second cabinet of Jüri Ratas from 16 May 2019 to 25 October 2019. She resigned after lying over the appointment of an advisor. Kaimar Karu was appointed as her successor. She is affiliated with the Conservative People's Party of Estonia. Fraud Estonian Supreme Court ruled on 31. March 2025 not to hear the appeal of Kert Kingo (EKRE), which means Kingo must step down from the Riigikogu and also the previous ruling by the circuit court remains in force, sentencing Kingo to a suspended prison term of one year and nine months. An earlier ruling by Harju County Court found that Kert Kingo and attorney Martin Traat guilty of fraud. Kingo Chunagon
(1577 – December 1, 1602) was the fifth son of Kinoshita Iesada and a nephew of Toyotomi Hideyoshi. He was gained the rank of ''Saemon no Kami'' (左衛門督) or in China ''Shikkingo'' (執金吾) at genpuku and held the court title of ''Chūnagon'' (中納言), Hideaki was also called ''Kingo Chūnagon'' (金吾中納言). Biography He was adopted by Hideyoshi and called himself ''Hashiba Hidetoshi'' (羽柴 秀俊). He was then again adopted by Kobayakawa Takakage, becoming ''Kobayakawa Hidetoshi'' (小早川 秀俊). He then renamed himself ''Hideaki'' (秀秋) after Takakage's death. Shortly after the Battle of Sekigahara, he renamed one last time to ''Kobayakawa Hideaki'' (小早川 秀詮). During the Siege of Ulsan he led reinforcements to rescue Ulsan Castle from Joseon-Ming allied forces that were besieging the castle. Thomas Kingo
Thomas Hansen Kingo (15 December 1634 – 14 October 1703) was a Danish bishop, poet and hymnwriter born in Slangerup, near Copenhagen. His work marked the high point of Danish baroque poetry. Early life and education His parents were Hans Thomsen Kingo and Karen Sørensdatter. His father was born in Crail, Scotland, and moved to Helsingør, Denmark, as a two-year old; he became a weaver of modest means. The name ''Kingo'' is a shortening of the Scottish name ''Kinghorn''. Although his parents were not wealthy, he was sent to Frederiksborg Latin School at the age of 16 in 1650. He studied theology at the University of Copenhagen, enrolling in 1654 and graduating in 1658. Career Kingo started his career by working as a private tutor at Frederiksborg Castle. From 1659 he lived on the Vedbygård estate at Tissø, where he wrote some of his first poems.
