''Kingmaker'' is the eighth studio album by American rapper Xzibit, released by Open Bar Entertainment and Greenback Records on May 16, 2025, being his first solo album in 13 years since ''Napalm''. It contains guest appearances including Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Ty Dolla Sign, Busta Rhymes, Royce da 5'9", Redman, B-Real, King T, Cold 187um, K.A.A.N., Domo Genesis, Butch Cassidy, Dem Jointz, JasonMartin, Tre Capital, and Guapdad 4000. Background and promotion Xzibit had not released an album since ''Napalm'' in 2012, until on October 11, 2024, he released the debut single "Play This at My Funeral" and announced his upcoming album. He states "Play This at My Funeral" as his "state of the union" and that the album isn't about his hierarchy, but rather ups and down throughout his career that "made him successful." Alvin Nathaniel Joiner (born September 18, 1974), better known by his stage name Xzibit (pronounced "''exhibit''), is an American rapper, actor, television presenter, radio personality, and record executive. Louis Mario Freese (born June 2, 1970), known by his stage name B-Real, is an American rapper. Since 1991, he has been one of two lead rappers in the hip hop group Cypress Hill, along with Sen Dog. He has also been a part of the rap metal band Kush (2000–2002), the hip hop supergroup Serial Killers (2013–present) and the rap rock supergroup Prophets of Rage (2016–2019). The UK Album Downloads Chart is compiled by the Official Charts on behalf of the British music industry. Since July 2015, the chart week runs from Friday to Thursday, with the chart date given as the following Thursday. The chart was introduced in April 2006 to coincide with the OCC's decision to include sales of album downloads in the UK Albums Chart. Roger McBride (born December 14, 1968), better known by his stage name King T (formerly known as King Tee), is an American West Coast hip hop rapper from Compton, California. ''Restless'' is the third studio album by rapper Xzibit. It was released December 12, 2000 though Epic Records, Loud Records, SRC Records, and Xzibit's Open Bar Entertainment. It debuted at #14 on the ''Billboard'' 200 with approximately 205,000 copies sold in its 1st week released. The album then fell 17 spots to #31 in the 2nd week, but then rose back up 19 spots to peak at #12 the following week.
