King Faisal Football Club, nicknamed the Babes, is a Ghanaian professional football club based in Kumasi, Ashanti Region. Owned by Kumasi's Muslim community and named after King Faisal of Saudi Arabia, the Babes compete in Division One League, the second tier football league in Ghana. They were represented at the 2006 FIFA World Cup by left-back Habib Mohamed. Baba Yara Sports Stadium (also Kumasi Sports Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium in Kumasi, Ashanti. It is Ghana's largest stadium, with a seating capacity of 40,528. The Kumasi Stadium is used mostly for football matches, although it is also used for athletics. It is the home of Kumasi Asante Kotoko as well as King Faisal. William Ntori Dankyi (born 4 September 1999) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Ghanaian Premier league side King Faisal Babes. A youth product of Charity Stars and Liberty Professionals, Dankyi spent three seasons playing for Liberty Professionals before joining Hearts of Oak in May 2018. With Hearts, he won five trophies, one Ghana Premier League title, two Ghana FA Cups, the Ghana President's Cup and the Ghana Super Cup. Dorian Marin (born 18 June 1960) is a Romanian football coach who last managed Nigerian side Calabar Rovers. Coaching career In 1991, Marin attended the federal coaching school of the Romanian Football Federation which he graduated in 1992. Playing career Schmidt's playing career – part of which he spent with Hannover 96 – ended early after a severe injury at the age of 23. The 2006 CAF Confederation Cup was the third edition of the CAF Confederation Cup. It started with the preliminary round (home-and away ties) that was played in February and March 2006.
