Christian Casey "King" Combs (born April 1, 1998) is an American rapper and model. The son of producer Sean "Diddy" Combs and model Kim Porter, King began his recording career with the release of his 2017 single "Type Different". His debut extended play, ''Cyncerely, C3'' (2019), was released by his father's label Bad Boy Records. "Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine" is a song by American rappers Sean "Diddy" Combs and Kanye West featuring their children, King Combs and North West respectively, as well as singer Jasmine Williams. It was exclusively released to West's X account on March 15, 2025, who claimed the song was for an upcoming Diddy album executively produced by him. On June 27, the song would be released as the opening track to West and King Combs' collaborative extended play (EP) '' Never Stop'' under the shortened title "Lonely Roads", with the vocals from Diddy and West being removed. Mixtape
In the modern music industry, a mixtape is a musical project, typically with looser constraints than that of an album or extended play. Unlike the traditional album or extended play, mixtapes are labeled as laid-back projects that allow artists more creative freedom and less commercial pressure. The term has significantly increased in popularity over the years due to high-profile artists marketing their projects as such. Prior to the decline of physical media, mixtapes were defined as homemade compilations of music played through a cassette tape, Compact disc, CD, or digital playlist and became significant in Hip hop (culture), hip-hop culture.
