King Chimera
King Chimera is a fictional superhero in the DC Comics Universe, a member of the superhero team the Justice Society of America. King Chimera first appeared in ''Justice Society of America'' (vol. 3) #24 (April 2009), and was created by Lilah Sturges and Fernando Pasarin. King has kept a mysterious identity since his debut, as very little is known about his past, so much that his real name has not been revealed. The only things that have currently been revealed about King is that he is Turkish, he claims to be the son of "King" Standish, and his former lover, Namita, his mother and others he knew are deceased. Publication history King Chimera's first, very brief, appearance was in ''Justice Society of America'' (vol. 3) #24 in early 2009, created by Lilah Sturges and Fernando Pasarin. Jason Peter "Jay" Garrick is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. He is the first character known as the Flash. The character first appeared in ''Flash Comics'' #1 (January 1940), created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Harry Lampert. In the original Golden Age comics, Jay Garrick gained his speed-enhancing abilities by inhaling hard water vapor during a lab experiment. This accident granted him superhuman speed and agility, allowing him to become the Flash and fight crime. Jay Garrick has made numerous appearances in other media.
