King (Nine Album)
''King'' is the fourth studio album by rapper Nine. The album was released digitally and on CD on September 9, 2018. The whole album was produced by the German production team Snowgoons. The album features appearances by New York City rappers: Conway The Machine, Kool G Rap, Smoothe Da Hustler, Ruste Juxx and Chris Rivers. It's Nine first album in 9 years, his last effort being 2009's ''Quinine''. Background After Nine joined the Snowgoons on their album entitled "Goon Bap" in 2016, they have been talking about new music and finally decided to move forward on a collaboration album. Derrick Keyes (born September 19, 1969), known professionally as Nine, is an American rapper from The Bronx, New York City. He is also known as 9MM or Nine Double M. Keyes got his break in early 1993 as a featured guest on Funkmaster Flex and the Ghetto Celebs' "Six Million Ways to Die". Keyes originally recorded under the moniker 9MM (or Nine Double M) before changing his name to simply Nine. He stated, "I didn't want to be just be named after the gun ( 9mm)." His stage name refers to his date of birth (September 19, 1969), his shoe size, and his lucky number. Victor Evans (born January 20, 1978), better known by his stage name Ruste Juxx, is an American rapper. He is originally from Crown Heights, Brooklyn. He was a protege of Sean Price, and a frequent guest rapper on Duck Down Music recordings. His first appearance was on the song "Magnum Force" off Heltah Skeltah's ''Magnum Force''. He released his debut album, ''Indestructible'', in 2008 through Duck Down Music. It was executive produced by Sean Price, and producers included Marco Polo and Black Milk. Cappadonna
Darryl Hill, better known by his stage name Cappadonna, is an American rapper. He is a member of the hip-hop collective the Wu-Tang Clan and is a member of the rap group Theodore Unit together with Ghostface Killah. Career Cappadonna (also known as Cappachino) was known to the future members of the Wu-Tang Clan, and had been U-God's mentor. Chylow Parker (July 19, 1969 – February 13, 2018), known by the stage name Chyskillz, was an American record producer, beatmaker, DJ, hardcore rapper, and a member of multi-platinum hardcore rap group Onyx. Marlon G. Fletcher (July 29, 1971 – May 22, 2003), better known under his stage name Big DS, was an American hardcore rapper and record producer from Queens, New York. He was co-founder of the hardcore rap group Onyx. As a part of Onyx Big DS released one album "Bacdafucup" and 8 singles on JMJ Records and featured on 1993's Judgment Night (soundtrack).
