Kinamand
''Kinamand'' ( en, Chinaman and ) is a 2005 Danish-Chinese comedy drama film that deals with the Chinese immigrant experience in Denmark and Marriage of convenience, marriages of convenience. Plot Keld, a plumber, is bored with his job and life. His wife, Rie, tries to interest him in a vacation or dance classes. When this last-ditch attempt fails, Rie, tired of Keld's apathy, divorces him and asks for DKK 50,000 (US $8,817). Keld continues on his downward spiral, ignoring his customers and closing his business indefinitely. He sells all of his and Rie's furniture and lives in the empty apartment. When his food runs out, he starts eating at a Chinese restaurant across the street every night. A pipe in the restaurant explodes and Keld agrees to fix it, in exchange for his meals. Henrik Ruben Genz (born 7 November 1959 in Gram, Denmark) is a Danish film director. Before becoming involved with film, Genz attended Designskolen Kolding, where he studied graphic design,Hjort, Mette, Eva Jorholt, and Eva Novrup Redvall. Bjarne Henriksen (born 18 January 1959) is a Danish film and television actor. Biography Henriksen was born in Såderup, Funen in 1959. Gisle Kverndokk (born 3 February 1967 in Trondheim, raised in Skien) is a Norwegian contemporary composer. Education In his teens, Kverndokk studied composition with Ragnar Søderlind. After having completed high school, Kverndokk enrolled at the Norwegian Academy of Music from which he graduated with diploma in 1994, having studied under the tutorship of Olav Anton Thommessen, Lasse Thoresen and Alfred Janson. Kverndokk has also studied at the Juilliard School in New York with John Corigliano and David Diamond.
