Kin Fables
''Kin Fables'' is a film project created by brothers Ben and Seb McKinnon, and produced by their company Five Knights Productions. In addition to the three short films, ''Kin'', ''Salvage'', and ''Requiem,'' Kin Fables includes Seb McKinnon's music work, with a short film ''Kin Fables: The Stolen Child'', created to accompany the music created under the name CLANN. Background ''Kin Fables'' was created by Ben McKinnon and Seb McKinnon after they took a trip backpacking through Scotland, finding the country rich with medieval history and legends and after Seb McKinnon started composing music using Logic Pro, which lead to him and Ben McKinnon creating storyboards for the first film. Originally intended to consist of nine short films, it was later condensed to three. Seb McKinnon
Seb McKinnon is a Canadian freelance illustrator. He has illustrated many cards for the collectible card game ''Magic: The Gathering''. Early life, education, and family Seb McKinnon was born in Montreal, Quebec, growing up in a creative family with four younger brothers. He attended Dawson College, where he received a degree in illustration. Career For some time after college, McKinnon worked for the video game company Ubisoft as a Video game design, game designer. At Ubisoft, he was a part of the concept team for the tactical shooter Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, Rainbow Six Siege. In 2012, McKinnon received his first commission from Wizards of the Coast to illustrate a card for the ''Magic: The Gathering core sets, 2009–2015#Magic 2013, Magic 2013'' core set of ''Magic: The Gathering''. Logic Pro is a proprietary digital audio workstation (DAW) and MIDI sequencer software application for the macOS platform developed by Apple Inc. It was originally created in the early 1990s as Notator Logic, or Logic, by German software developer C-Lab which later went by Emagic. Apple acquired Emagic in 2002 and renamed Logic to Logic Pro. Fantasia International Film Festival, also known as Fantasia Fest or simply Fantasia, is a genre film festival that has been based mainly in Montreal since its founding in 1996.
