Kimberly Lacy
Kimberly Lacy (born April 2, 1981) is an American television personality, wardrobe stylist, landscape designer and is the owner operator of a construction company. Born in Dumas, Arkansas, Kimberly currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the project manager on HGTV's ''Curb Appeal: The Block'', where she shares her practical painting tips, techniques and demonstrations with viewers. Prior to joining the show, Lacy served as the lead painter on the HGTV series ''Designed to Sell''. As celebrity stylist, Kimberly has worked with the likes of Wilhelmina and Elite Models, celebrity photographer Derek Blanks, and publications ''Essence'' & Black Elegance. She owns and operates her own design and artisan paint company Anatomy of Design. Kimberly contributes monthly articles for Sister 2 Sister magazine's Home Improvement section. Dumas, Arkansas
Dumas ( ) is a city in Desha County, Arkansas, Desha County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 4,706 at the 2010 United States Census, 2010 census. History In 1870, a planter, merchant and surveyor of French descent, William B. Dumas, bought acres of farmland from the Abercrombie Holmes family. The area was named Watson District and the town continued to develop. Then, the District was renamed Dumas and was incorporated in 1904. Dumas proudly proclaims itself as "Home of the Ding Dong Daddy", a reference to the vaudeville song "I'm a Ding Dong Daddy from Dumas" by Phil Baxter. However, this is up for debate, as the city of Dumas, Texas, also lays claim, with some documentation, to the song being about them. ''Designed to Sell'' is an American HGTV reality television show produced by Pie Town Productions in Los Angeles and Chicago and Edelman Productions in Washington, D.C., and Atlanta. Each 30-minute episode focuses on fixing up a home that is about to go on the market or that has been on the market but has not attracted buyers. The show began airing in 2004 and was canceled in 2011. The show provides expert real estate and design advice and general contractors, who are given a $2,000 budget for materials to get a maximum offer for the house. To add excitement to the show, the renovations generally take place over a period of three to seven days, before the home's open house, generally spread out over the course of three or four weeks. The Fuller Center for Housing (FCH) is an ecumenical Christian, 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-governmental organization based in Americus, Georgia, that builds and repairs homes for low-income families and individuals.
