Kim Woo-joo
Kim Woo-joo (born August 29, 1985) is a South Korean ballad singer, pianist and lyricist. Kim debuted in 2005 with the album "Before you sleep...". On November 10, 2014, he released his third album "More Softly…" on music sites, marking his 10-year anniversary since his debut. In April 2015, The Korea Times reported that Seoul court sentenced singer Kim Woo-joo to one year in prison for attempting to evade mandatory military duty by lying about his mental health. In the media spotlight was not Kim, but a hip-hop singer with the same name, also born in 1985. Ballad
A ballad is a form of verse, often a narrative set to music. Ballads derive from the medieval French ''chanson balladée'' or '' ballade'', which were originally "dance songs". Ballads were particularly characteristic of the popular poetry and song of Britain and Ireland from the Late Middle Ages until the 19th century. They were widely used across Europe, and later in Australia, North Africa, North America and South America. Ballads are often 13 lines with an ABABBCBC form, consisting of couplets (two lines) of rhymed verse, each of 14 syllables. Seo Ji-young
Seo Ji-young (born June 2, 1981) is a South Korean former singer. She was formerly a member of pop group Sharp. The group released six albums before their breakup in 2002, attributed to the feud between Seo and fellow female member Lee Ji-hye. She is daughter of Seo Seung-hwan and his wife Hong Seung-hee. Her father is the 19th president of Yonsei University, and Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport during President Park Geun-hye's administration (2013-17). Han Groo (born Min Han-groo on May 29, 1992) is a South Korean actress and singer. Early life Han Groo was born in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. When she was in fourth grade, her family moved to the United States where she studied at Acacia Elementary School in California, and Ladera Vista Junior High School in California. Han Groo excelled at her academic studies—to the extent that she won a U.S. President's Education Award in 2003. Lee Ru-ma ( ko, 이루마; born 15 February 1978), better known by his stage name Yiruma ( ko, 이루마, links=no), is a South Korean pianist and composer. Biography Yiruma was born in Seoul to a pastor.
