Kim Smith Gaucher (née Kim Smith, May 7, 1984) is a Canadian professional basketball player for the USO Mondeville of the Ligue Féminine de Basketball. She played college basketball for the Utah Utes women's basketball, Utah Utes. She was drafted with the thirteenth overall pick in the 2006 WNBA draft by the Sacramento Monarchs. College career She grew up in Mission, British Columbia and attended Heritage Park Secondary school before attending the University of Utah and playing for its Utah Utes women's basketball, women's basketball team. She was named the ''Associated Press'' All-American Honorable Mention team in 2005, as well as the Kodak All-America Honorable Mention from 2003 through 2005. The 2013 FIBA Americas Championship for Women was the qualifying tournament for FIBA Americas at the 2014 FIBA World Championship for Women in Turkey. The 2006 FIBA World Championship for Women took place in Brazil from September 12 to September 23, 2006. It was co-organised by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and Confederação Brasileira de Basketball, the Brazilian national federation. Club Bàsquet Puig d'en Valls, popularly known as Bàsquet PDV and also known as Palacio de Congresos de Ibiza for sponsorship reasons, is a Spanish women's basketball club from Santa Eulària des Riu, Ibiza. History Founded in 1996, it played in the LFB between 2003 and 2012, when it was relegated to the Liga de Baloncesto de Ibiza. Puig d'en Valls qualified for the championship play-offs in 2003, 2005 and 2008; in the latter it was 3rd, its best result in the regular season. The women's basketball tournament at the 2015 Pan American Games was held in Toronto, Canada at the Mattamy Athletic Centre, Ryerson Athletic Centre from July 16 to 20.
