Kim Oki
Kim Oki () is a South Korean saxophonist, and former breakdancer. He debuted in 2013 with his studio album ''Cherubim's Wrath (천사의 분노)'', and has since released numerous projects and albums. He collaborated with various artists including Park Jiha, Lowdown 30, Hippy Was Gipsy, Say Sue Me, and Bek Hyunjin. He won the Musician of the Year at the 2020 Korean Music Awards. Career Kim Oki was a former breakdancer and a backup dancer to Sechs Kies. He first learned saxophone when he was 25. As for how he started the saxophone, he interviewed that after being impressed by Miles Davis' trumpet songs, he mistook him for a saxophonist at the time and learned to play saxophone. He debuted in 2013 with his first studio album ''Cherubim's Wrath (천사의 분노)'', which he once said was inspired by a Jo Sehui's novel " The Dwarf." Jazz
Jazz is a music genre that originated in the African-American communities of New Orleans, Louisiana in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with its roots in blues and ragtime. Since the 1920s Jazz Age, it has been recognized as a major form of musical expression in traditional and popular music. ''The Dwarf'' is the translation by Bruce and Ju-Chan Fulton of a Korean linked-story novel, (; lit. "A little ball launched by a dwarf"), written by Cho Se-hui and published in 1978. Background Saturn Meditation is a recording of Kim Oki's project Saturn Ballad, which he said was a project created by wondering what it would feel like if people lived in Saturn Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and the second-largest in the Solar System, after Jupiter. Communion is the debut studio album by South Korean musician Park Jiha. The album was released on 24 November 2016. Background Park Jiha was a member of the group Suːm from 2008 to 2016. She interviewed the album name as "After I finish the song, I think about the name I came across the word by chance, and I thought ''Communion'' was the most appropriate title that could penetrate my album with just one word.
