Kim Mu-saeng
Kim Mu-saeng (16 March 1943 – 16 April 2005) was a South Korean actor. Early life and education Kim was born in the town of Daesan in March 1943. He studied at Dongguk University in Seoul, beginning his career as a voice actor for Tongyang Broadcasting Company (now KBS) in 1963. Career Kim made his on-screen acting debut in 1969, and went on to make over 100 appearances in film and television, his final role being in the television drama series ''Save the Last Dance for Me'', which ended on 2 January 2005. Seosan
Seosan (; ) is a city in South Chungcheong Province, South Korea, with a population of roughly 175,000 according to the 2017 census. Located at the northwestern end of South Chungcheong Province, it is bounded by Dangjin, Naepo New Town, Yesan-gun and Hongseong-gun on the east, Taean-gun and the Yellow Sea on the west, south of Seoul, northwest of Daejeon and northwest of Naepo New Town. ''The Dawn of the Empire'' () is a South Korean historical television series which aired on KBS1 from March 2, 2002 to January 26, 2003 for 94 episodes every weekend at 21:45 ( KST). It's KBS' second histocal series set in Goryeo after ''Taejo Wang Geon'' and revolves around the reigns of the second, third and fourth king of Goryeo, particularly on the latter, Gwangjong's. Written by Lee Hwan-kyung, it was the first South Korean drama to be filmed in North Korea, particularly in Pyongyang and Mount Baekdu. Open sets built in Andong, Mungyeong and Jecheon for ''Taejo Wang Geon'' were also used. The drama debuted with a viewership rating of 31.9%, then settled on an average of 19.6%, lower than expected. ''Mina'' () is a South Korean television series that aired on KBS2 in 2001. Plot Park Mina, a highly popular singer who's won the hearts of many fans, gets into a car accident when her car swerves to avoid an oncoming vehicle. The car, which fell into a ditch, explodes and causes Mina to suffer second, third and fourth-degree burns on her body. Mina's manager Kang Joon-seo happens to find Kim Soo-ryun, who looks almost exactly like Mina. ''Il Mare'' () is a 2000 South Korean romantic fantasy film, starring Lee Jung-jae and Jun Ji-hyun, and directed by Lee Hyun-seung. The title, ''Il Mare'', means "The Sea" in Italian, and is the name of the seaside house which is the setting of the story. The two protagonists both live there two years apart in time, but are able to communicate through a mysterious mailbox. Yi Sun-sin (; ; April 28, 1545 – December 16, 1598) was a Korean admiral and military general known for his victories against the Japanese navy during the Imjin War in the Joseon period. Yi's courtesy name was Yŏhae (여해), and he was posthumously honored with the title Lord of Loyal Valor (). The exact number of naval engagements conducted by Admiral Yi against the Japanese is a subject of historical debate. Chough Pyung-ok
Chough Pyung-ok (; 1894 – 1960) was a South Korean politician. He ran against incumbent president Syngman Rhee in the 1960 presidential election but died on February 15, one month before the election on March 15. Rhee received 90% of the vote. He was the first Director of the Korean National Police from 1945 to 1949 and Minister of Home Affairs during the early stages of the Korean War.
