Kim Hyo-yeon
Kim Hyo-yeon (; born September 22, 1989), known professionally as Hyoyeon or DJ Hyo, is a South Korean singer, dancer, and DJ. She debuted as a member of the girl group Girls' Generation in August 2007, which went on to become one of the best-selling artists in South Korea and one of the most widely known K-pop groups worldwide. She has since participated in other SM Entertainment projects, including Oh!GG, Girls' Generation-Oh!GG and Got the Beat. Hyoyeon also released the solo singles "Mystery" (2016) and "Wannabe" (2017) prior to making her solo debut as HYO with the single "Sober" in 2018. Background information The song was written by Ezekiel "Zeke" Lewis, Balewa Muhammad, Candice Nelson, and Patrick "J. Que" Smith of the popular songwriting/production team The Clutch. Black Beat (블랙 비트) was a South Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment. The five-member group released an album ''Volume 1 - Black Beat #2002'' in 2002. The Electric Boogaloos are a street dance crew responsible for the spread of popping and electric boogaloo. The name "Boogaloo" came from a song called " Do a Boogaloo" by James Brown, which was also adapted as a Boogaloo street dance done from Oakland, CA.
